Chiang Mai is the gateway to the country’s north in what used to be the Lanna Kingdom. It is an international tourist destination with many attractions both within the city and surrounding areas. Although historical, Chiang Mai has all the facilities of a modern city with world class shopping malls and a good choice of modern hospitals and clinics. The Juniper Tree Chiang Mai
The Juniper Tree is situated in a secluded tropical garden not far from the city centre. It is easily accessible from the airport (20 minutes) and the train station (5 minutes) by taxi. Supermarkets, shopping malls and Chiang Mai’s famous night bazaar are all within a short taxi drive.
